International Transfers – Sharing Your Information to other jurisdictions

Where personal data is transferred outside of Mauritius, VFS will ensure that such transfers are carried out in compliance with the Data Protection Laws and Regulations. How We Keep Your Personal Data
VFS is committed to retaining your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable laws and regulations. This includes retaining your information for a reasonable period following the end of your investment or client relationship with us.
In the absence of specific legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations, personal data will be retained for a period of seven (7) years after the termination of the relationship. However, in certain circumstances—such as ongoing regulatory enquiries or inspections—we may be required to retain the information for a longer period.
All personal data will be destroyed / deleted after the retention period.
